BAMBUCO has been invited to Moscow for the Third Theatre Olympiad. As with the installations of ARCH in Manila '98 and Berlin '99, local climbers have been invited to join the company for this project. In June 2001 six Russian climbers will join the company to construct the fifty metre long SHIP OF FOOLS on a huge barge on the Moskva River. Construction will begin on June 15th and conclude with the closing event of the festival on June 29th as the ship 'sails' off down the river with many of the international and Russian performers aboard.
