Forest, Shepparton Art Is... Festival (1999)

The work Forest was a collaboration between Bambuco and another local Natimuk group, Y Space. The work involved six dancers/climbers moving across 40 vertical bamboo poles dug into the ground, as if moving from tree to tree.
Forest was performed at the Shepparton Art Is... Festival in March 1999 and marked the first of many collaborations between Bambuco and Y Space. Jillian Pearce, the Artistic Director of Y Space, was also a long-term Bambuco crew member.
